It was published 12th May 2017 on the Eurilca website and an email sent to all competitors.
The NoR for the European series had been validly amended by EurIlca. GER 212413 admitted that he had not read this NOR. GER 212413 has entered other Regattas of the series.
GER 212413 presented a composite mast for the measurment.
Conclusion:
It is the responsibility of competitors to familiarise themselves with the NoR before making a decision to enter a Regatta. If GER 212413 sails in this regatta with a composite mast, she will then be in breach of the NoR for the series p.1.1.
Decision:
As GER 212413 has not yet sailed in this regatta, no penalty can be applied.
